How Can You Successfully Achieve Flexible Working?

The working world has changed significantly since the beginning of 2020. The pandemic has taught many employees and employers that working from home is a viable option. However, now that the world has opened again, many companies have begun filtering their employees back into the workplace. This is causing many complications for workers across the UK, working from home allowed us to stay flexible with both work and life. Choosing flexible working was one of the best decisions that I made in my life, and I will explore the methods that I chose to become financially free as well as a flexible worker.

If you would like to achieve your dreams whilst being able to have a stable income, then flexible working is the perfect fit for you.

What is flexible working?

Flexible working can be a brilliant boost to your productivity. It also helps to keep you motivated to handle work and life commitments with ease. Flexible working is an alternative to the traditional 9-5 office hours. It includes several different work patterns that you can set yourself. You can set your own start and finish times, whether this is part-time or full-time. Flexible working puts YOU first, you can choose where, when, and how you work.

My flexible working patterns

Like many others, my life used to revolve around work. I was tied to an office in a 9-5 job that restricted me from enjoying life and embracing what the world has to offer. Eventually, enough was enough, and I designed a flexible working future for myself.

Times have certainly evolved and I am ever grateful that I, as well as many others, can now choose to work their own hours and work flexibly. It was the best decision I ever made and has allowed me to experience so many great things that a normal office job wouldn’t.

I help people to either earn money, save money or both. I’m in the incredibly fortunate position that I work where and when I want whilst getting paid full time. My business is all about working flexibly which allows you to embrace your life passions whilst still being able to pay for the important aspects of life.

Becoming a digital nomad has allowed me to embrace life and to do the things that I love whilst working. If it wasn’t for the flexibility of my business, I wouldn’t have been able to spend 11 weeks completing my 850-mile walk, or my current trip to Wales!

By partnering with me at UW, you can join me in a flexible working lifestyle and build a recurring income that allows you to be free.

What are the benefits of flexible working?

If flexible working has caught your eye and you’re considering making the change from the office 9-5, then you might be wondering what some of the benefits are.

The first, and most important benefit is that flexible working promotes a healthy work-life balance. The benefits of choosing when and where you work will allow you to switch off, enjoy time with family and friends and embark on your travel dreams. Thereby limiting stress, dissatisfaction, and work burnout. Nothing is more important than ensuring that you have a healthy work-life balance, and flexible working will allow you to take more time out for your life.

Secondly, you will find yourself feeling much more productive in comparison to your 9-5 office job. Balancing work and life has increased my productivity and is one of the biggest advantages of being a flexible worker. I can choose when and where I work, and this has helped me to make my work much more productive and effective for my business. You will find yourself wanting to work!

Thirdly, you can do it all your own way. No one will be telling you how to do your job and when you need to do it. You will be running on YOUR schedule and won’t have to worry about running late for work ever again. If you want to spend the day with your family for a celebration, you can. The opportunities of flexible working greatly outweigh those of a regular office job.
